NOTE: before starting configuration it is necessary to change the primary manufacturer password („0000“). Otherwise the device will ignore he commands sent from the computer.

3.1. Administrator control parameters

Settings section Call/SMS Settings is used for putting authorized telephone numbers for which the system Ultima Pro will allow performing configurations. By default, in the case of alarm the system sends SMS messages and calls until one of the possible five users answers the call or presses reject button or if the call is terminated by mobile network operator. It is also possible to configure the system so that SMS messages are simultaneously received by all administrators.

It is necessary to enter only telephone number of the first user (User1), i. e. it is not necessarily to enter all 5 numbers (User1…User5) at once. User must type mobile number in the international format (it consist of only those digits that overseas callers must type: 44[area code][local number]) without symbol '+'.

E.g. the mobile number of user is +44 (0) 113 xxx xxxx, so the incorrectly and correctly entered numbers are:

Incorrectly entered user number: 440113xxxxxxx or 0113xxxxxxx

Correctly entered user number: 44113xxxxxxx

SMS ALL – When this function is enabled, in the case of an alarm, the system simultaneously sends SMS messages to all entered users. By default this function is disabled. When this function is disabled, SMS messages are delivered in a sequence starting with the first user (User1). The message will be sent to the next user only in the case the device does not receive a confirmation about a successful SMS message delivery to the first recipient.

Inform All about Arming/Disarming – When this function is enabled, the system sends information messages to all users (with enabled Arm/Disarm Event function) about armed/disarmed security system. By default this function is disabled - specified user will receive SMS notification about armed/disarmed security only in the case the fuction Arm/Disarm Event is enabled and he is personally arming or disarming security.

Disable Call during Alarm – a function disabling (check mark is selected) calls to the specified users in the case of alarm. By default this function is turned off.

Disable SMS during Alarm – a function disabling (check mark is selected) SMS message delivery to the specified users in the case of alarm. By default this function is turned off.

Chime Enable – When this function is enabled, users will be informed with sound signal of the keyboard speaker about any triggered Delay zone sensors even when the system security is not activated. By default, this function is enabled.

Partition 0 /Partition 1 - Indicates partitions in which every users phone numbers (User1 - User5) are assigned.

3.2. Setting passwords

SMS Password – main 4 digit password which is used for system configurations and control via SMS messages. By default, password is 0000, which is NECESSARY to change.

Allow Only preset Users – When this function is enabled, the system reacts to the SMS messages-commands that are sent only from registered telephone numbers. If this function is disabled, the device can be controlled by all users who know the number of the SIM card inserted in the device, control commands and the main password. Factory default setting – enabled.

Keyboard Password – 4 digit code which is used to arm/disarm system security with a keyboard. By default, this code is 1111, which is recommended to change (in case that Ultima Pro version is 7.06.00 or newer, please read section 3.12).

Admin Password – 4 digit code which is used to configurate system settings with a keyboard (read more in the user manual of the keyboard). By default, this code is 1470, which is recommended to change.

NOTE: it is necessary to change factory default password (“0000”). If the password is not changed the chosen parameters will not be stored in the device.
NOTE: when entering the new password you cannot use full stops, colons and spaces.
NOTE: even if you forgot the password having connected to Ultima Pro Configuration Tool using this software you will be able to easily check the password – all device settings, including the password, are displayed on the computer screen.

3.3. Selecting the language

The system Ultima Pro communicates with the user via SMS messages, which are used for sending various informational messages about system status. For the sake of comfort the user has an option to choose the language in which the SMS messages will be delivered:

  • Lithuania – Lithuanian language;
  • Russia – Russian language;
  • English – English language;
  • Eesti – Estonian language;
  • Latviesu – latvian language;
  • Deutsch – german language;
  • Slovak – slovakian language;

3.4.Configuring periodical testing

The system Ultima Pro periodically send informational messages about device status, i. e, it informs the user about connection status, whether the security is armed/disarmed etc. every day at the preset time. This is the test how the system operates. The user can specify the frequency and time of these continuous messages:

Periode – specifies after how many days repetitive informational messages are delivered, e. g. if you enter “1” – the system sends messages every day, if you enter “2” – it sends messages every two days etc.

Time – specifies the time at which informational message will be delivered, e.g.: if you specify “11” – the message will be delivered at 11:00 etc.

NOTE: the user can disable the function of delivering periodical informational messages if he/she fills the fields in sections Period and Time with zeros.
NOTE: if you want system checks to be performed more often than once per day enter “0” in the section Period and “1…23” in the section Time. For instance, continuous check will be performed every two hours if you specify the following parameters: Period – “0”, Time – “2”.

3.5.Setting the time and date

Ultima Pro device has an integrated clock that must be set by the user when the device is started for the first time. The clock is intended for the system to send specific informational messages about system status etc. at the specified time. You need to enter the following data:

Date - date, the format: year-month-day;

Time - time, the format: hours:minutes;

In the environment of Ultima Pro Configuration Tool the user can enter date and time data or automatically set this information according to computer clock (pressing the button Get PC Time). When all data is set you must press the button Set Clock – the time will be entered on the device.

NOTE: when device power supply gets cut off and the backup battery is depleted internal clock is restored to the previous factory default value; to have the system operate correctly you need to reset the internal clock of the device accordingly.
NOTE: Ultima Pro Configuration Tool program cannot read the internal clock of Ultima Pro device, therefore when connecting the device to the software date and time fields will remain empty even though the time is set correctly in the device.

3.6.Ways to connect Alarm Zones

In the environment of Ultima Pro Configuration Tool the user must specify the type of connected Alarm Zones:

Type1 – Normally open contact with 5,6KΩ end of line resistor

Type2 – Normally closed contact with 5,6KΩ end of line resistor

Type3 – Tamper and 5,6KΩ end of line resistor and 3,3KΩ end of line resistor with normally closed contact

Type4 – 5,6KΩ end of line resistor and normally closed contact with 3,3KΩ end of line resistor and normally closed contact. This type of connection is used for ATZ mode.

Type5 – Tamper and 5,6KΩ end of line resistor and 5,6KΩ end of line resistor with normally closed contact and 3,3KΩ end of line resistor with normally closed contact. This type of connection is used for ATZ mode.

3.7.Events Log

Log Enable – When this function is enabled, the system logs all information about system configuration, system actions and info messages to the events log. By default, this function is disabled.

By pressing button Get Log, the system generates file log.txt which consist of the last 500 records to the events log.

3.8.Temperature sensor

The system Ultima Pro allows the user to receive SMS messages in the case of temperature deviation from the set values. In order to use this function it is necessary to connect temperature sensor and set the parameters accordingly:

Max - maximum marginal temperature. The temperature is measured in degrees Celsius.
